Two years ago, the International Day of Human Fraternity was first celebrated in  Abu Dhabi when Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed el-Tayeb, signed the Document on Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi. In 2020, the United Nations declared this commemoration as the International Day of Human Fraternity

This commemoration aims to promote peace, unity, and understanding among people of diverse cultures and religions. By recognizing the inherent dignity and worth of every human being, it aspires to inspire individuals and communities to come together in a spirit of compassion, cooperation, and solidarity.
